After Nightfall is a self-portrait series that follows The Light That Calls. Where that series traces the experience of vigilance, of learning to read rooms, manage visibility, and survive being seen, this series considers the psychological space that emerges once vigilance recedes.

Set within anonymous, temporary interiors, the photographs move from red to amber, from watchfulness to ease. Solitude becomes a place of presence rather than defence. Unobserved and unhurried, the self turns toward a window, a candle, or a corner, moving with curiosity and finding a freedom it rarely gets to keep.

Belonging, here, is not granted by place. It emerges through inhabiting oneself with quiet certainty
